Third of three LSU defensive backs selected in the draft along with cornerback Morris Claiborne in the first round and safety Brandon Taylor in the third round … Bills received the fourth-round pick used on Taylor as part of a 2011 trade with the Baltimore Ravens for wide receiver Lee Evans.
CAREER
Played in 53 games in his LSU career starting three times … Finished career with 90 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks … Intercepted three passes during his career and returned all three for touchdowns (2010 vs. Louisiana-Monroe, 2011 vs. Auburn and Ole Miss) … Played in every game for the Tigers from 2008 through 2011 (53 games).
SENIOR SEASON (2011)
Played in 14 games and made three starts … Starts came against Auburn, West Virginia, and Arkansas … One of LSU’s most experienced players having played in every game since 2008 (53 games) … A top reserve in the secondary who often played in LSU’s nickel and dime packages … Intercepted two passes and return both of them four touchdowns … Intercepted an Ole Miss pass on the third play of the game and returned it 46 yards for a touchdown in LSU’s 52-3 win over the Rebels … Picked off a third quarter pass and returned it 28 yards for a score in LSU’s 45-10 win over Auburn … Named SEC Defensive Player of the Week for his play against Ole Miss as he registered four tackles, including a sack for an 11-yard loss, as well as a forced fumble and a fumble recovery … Recovered fumbles in wins over Oregon, Ole Miss and Arkansas and forced fumbles against Auburn and Ole Miss … Had career-best six tackles to go along with a sack for a 14-yard loss in win over Arkansas … Tied a career high with 2.0 tackles for a loss, including one sack, and a pass breakup and a QB hurry in win over Western Kentucky … Served as a gunner on LSU’s punt coverage … Returned five kickoffs for a total of 81 yards (16.2 average).
JUNIOR SEASON (2010)
Played in all 13 games with no starts … Very productive season as he finished with 33 total tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, two sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble and one interception … Had his best game as a Tiger against Louisiana-Monroe when he made his first career interception and returned it 32 yards for a touchdown … Added his first career sac to go along with a career-high five tackles and one pass breakup in win over Louisiana-Monroe … Recorded his second career sack versus Ole Miss that forced a fumble, and he also posted two tackles for a loss … Credited with four tackles, one PBU and one quarterback hurry against West Virginia and also returned one kickoff for 24 yards … Recorded four tackles, one for a loss, in the opener against North Carolina and also returned two kickoffs for 63 yards with a career-high long of 50 … Finished the season with seven kickoff returns for 162 yards and a 23.1 yard average … Also served as a gunner on punt coverage and downed several punts inside the 20 throughout the season.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2009)
Played in all 13 games on the season and was a starting kickoff returner … Had his best game as a returner at Ole Miss with three returns for 86 yards, including a long of 41 … Recorded one tackle and a pass breakup against Auburn … Returned two kickoffs for 35 yards with a long of 21 yards against Vanderbilt … Season-high in tackles was two on two occasions – at Alabama and vs. Louisiana Tech.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2008)
Played in 13 games with no starts … Saw action on special teams in all 13 games … Finished year with 18 tackles, nine of which were solo … Forced two fumbles and recovered a fumble, all on special teams … Fumble recovery came on a muffed punt against Georgia Tech in the Chick-fil-A Bowl … Forced a fumble on a punt return against South Carolina … Forced fumble on second quarter kickoff return against Alabama … LSU recovered that fumble and scored two players later to take a 14-7 lead against top-ranked Alabama … Had career-best three tackles in comeback win over Troy … Added a pair of tackles against Alabama and had two against Mississippi State … Tallied a quarterback hurry and two tackles versus North Texas … In his LSU debut, made one tackle against Appalachian State.
