JUNIOR SEASON (2002)
Starter at left cornerback in 11 of 13 games … Started at free safety vs. Auburn … In all, played in 13 games with 12 starts … Played safety in LSU’s sub packages … Recorded 64 tackles, including one for a loss … Had four quarterback hurries and 11 pass breakups … Posted season-high eight tackles on three different occasions – vs. Miami (Ohio), Kentucky and Ole Miss … Had six tackles each in wins over Florida and South Carolina.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001)
Versatile defensive back who has a knack for coming up with the big play … Played in all 13 games with one start … Started as LSU’s fifth defensive back vs. Arkansas … In 35 defensive plays vs. Illinois in the Sugar Bowl, forced one fumble, returned a fumble 19 yards to setup an LSU touchdown and had an interception … Also added a pair of tackles … Had five tackles vs. Tennessee in SEC title game … Finished regular season with 25 tackles, one sack and a pair of interceptions … Played only eight snaps vs. Utah State and recorded five tackles, one interception, one sack and forced a fumble … Intercepted a pass vs. Ole Miss, only the second interception of the season for Eli Manning.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
A true freshman who saw action in five games in 2000 – vs. Western Carolina, Houston, Florida, Kentucky and Mississippi State … Registered two tackles from the defensive back position … Originally came to LSU as a running back … One of seven true freshmen to see action on the Tiger defense.

HIGH SCHOOL
First Team All-District as a junior and senior … Also First Team All-Metro both years … Letter four years in football, three in weightlifting, two in baseball and one in track and field … Played in only eight games as a senior due to a knee injury but still managed to rush for 1,067 yards and 13 touchdowns … Also caught three touchdown passes and ran back two punts for scores … Coached in high school by Brady Perry.
