SENIOR SEASON (2004)
LSU’s starting quarterback … Played in all 12 games with 8 starts … Finished season with 1,269 yards passing and 9 TDs … Rushed for another 3 touchdowns … Connected on 106 of 162 passes with 6 interceptions … Played best game of season in a 43-14 win over Arkansas … Against the Razorbacks, accounted for 4 TDs – 2 rushing and 2 passing – against the Razorbacks … Connected on 10 of 14 passes for 173 yards and 2 scores against Arkansas and rushed for a career-best 79 yards and 2 TDs … Named SEC Offensive Player of the Week against Florida after engineering a fourth quarter comeback against the Gators … Against Florida, was inserted into the game in the first half with the Tigers down 14-0 … Pulled LSU to within 21-14 at halftime and then directed the game-winning drive, capped with a 10-yard scoring pass to Joseph Addai, with less than 2 minutes left in the contest … Finished Florida game by connecting on 18 of 27 passes for 198 yards and 2 TDs … Also rushed for 46 yards against the Gators … Followed that with a strong outing vs. Troy, completing a career-best 24 passes on 37 attempts for 328 yards and 1 TD … Finished career with 7-7 record as LSU’s starting quarterback, which includes a 5-3 record in 2004 … Named to South squad for 2005 Gridiron Classic in Orlando where he was named MVP … Completed 7 of 11 passes for 88 yards and rushed for 6 yards in the South’s 24-21 win.

JUNIOR SEASON (2003)
Athletic player who gave the Tigers one of the most experienced backup quarterbacks around … Played in nine games for the Tigers in 2003 and completed 25 of 40 passes for 403 yards and two TDs … Threw only one interception … Also rushed for 15 yards on nine attempts … Connected on 5-of-7 passes for 153 yards and 66-yard TD in season-opener vs. Louisiana-Monroe … Followed that with a 9-of-14 performance for 149 yard and a 55-yard TD pass against Arizona in week two … Filled in for an injured Matt Mauck for LSU’s final 7 games in 2002 with six of those being starts … Street and Smith’s magazine called Randall the most dangerous scrambler in the SEC in its 2003 preseason issue.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2002)
Started six of LSU’s last seven games, including the Cotton Bowl … Posted a 2-4 mark as LSU’s starting quarterback … Inserted into starting lineup against South Carolina after Matt Mauck’s season-ending vs. Florida and led the Tigers to a 38-14 victory … Completed 87-of-181 passes for 1,173 yards, seven touchdowns and only five interceptions … Four of the five interceptions came in loss to Auburn … Had other interception vs. Texas in the Cotton Bowl … Had a streak of 113 straight passes without an interception snapped in third quarter of the Cotton Bowl … … Rushed for 348 yards on 7 3 carries for a 4.8 average … Had a pair of rushing TDs …Capped season with a 19-of-45 performance for 193 yards and one TD vs. Texas in the Cotton Bowl … Rushed for 78 yards on 11 carries, including a 76-yard run in the second quarter against the Longhorns … The 76-yard run was the longest in the modern era of LSU football by a quarterback, breaking the previous high of 72 by Herb Tyler vs. Ole Miss in 1997 … Named SEC Offensive Player of the Week after coming off the bench to lead the Tigers to a 14-13 win over Ole Miss … Completed 13-of-20 passes for 179 yards and two TDs in win over Rebels … Also rushed for 31 yards on nine carries against Ole Miss … Delivered one of the most memorable plays in LSU history – “The Bluegrass Miracle” – when he connected with Devery Henderson on a 75-yard Hail Mary TD pass as time expired to beat Kentucky … That play was called the play of the year in college football by Sports Illustrated and the Associated Press … It also went on to win an ESPY in the “Play of the Year” category … Threw for a career-best three TDs in win over Wildcats … Had TD passes of 75, 70 and 30 yards in Kentucky game … Had outstanding game in loss to Arkansas, completing 14-of-25 passes for 203 yards and one TD … Rushed for 26 yards and one score vs. the Razorbacks … Became the first quarterback at LSU to win an SEC game in first collegiate start (beat South Carolina) since Sol Graves beat Georgia in 1990 … Tore ACL in right knee in spring game in 2002 … On the play, Randall simply dropped back to pass and the knee gave way … Rehabbed over the summer and was back for fall camp in August.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2001)
Backup quarterback for the Tigers in 2001 … Very athletic with a strong arm … Played in two games for the Tigers – vs. Tulane and Mississippi State … Rushed for seven yards vs. Tulane and was 2-of-2 passing for seven yards … Did not record any statistics against Mississippi State.

HIGH SCHOOL
All-State Honorable mention … District Offensive Co-MVP … Member of The Advocate Second Dozen … All-Metro … Two-year starter … Rushed for more than 500 yards … Completed 69 of 144 passes for 1,117 yards and 12 touchdowns … Also played shortstop and center field in baseball for three years … President of his student body, he was a member of the National Honor Society and the Beta Club … Team finished with a 4-6 record his senior year … Clocked at 4.6 in the 40 in high school … Coached in high school by Nolan Gill.
