SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016)
Split time between right guard and left guard before cementing himself as the starting right tackle … Totaled 542 snaps on the year … Finished with 44 knockdowns and 16 “great plays” … Allowed just four sacks on the year … Key component in an LSU offensive line that helped lead the way for three 200-yard rushers and seven 100-yard rushers in 2016 … Posted a season-high eight knockdown blocks against Ole Miss to help Leonard Fournette to a school record 284 yards on the ground … Finished with five “great plays” against the Rebels … As a unit, LSU finished No. 4 in the SEC with 233.0 rushing yards per game with 30 TDs.

Played in all 12 games and started the last 11 at left guard … Named a true freshman All-American by ESPN.com after helping pave the way for Leonard Fournette’s LSU single-season rushing record of 1,953 yards, as well as LSU’s No. 7 national ranking in rushing yards at 256.8 yards per game … Stepped in as a true freshman and performed at a high level from the start … Racked up 63 knockdown blocks in 708 offensive snaps this season … Posted a season-high nine knockdowns in games against Eastern Michigan and Ole Miss … Played every offensive snap in four games (Auburn, Syracuse, Ole Miss and Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl).
