SENIOR SEASON (2005)
Veteran who started 9 games at the Buck linebacker position in LSU’s base defense … Was the first linebacker off the field when the Tigers go to their sub-packages on defense … Played in 13 games with 9 starts … Had 45 tackles to his credit with 20 of those being solo stops … Recorded 2.5 tackles totaling 6-yards in losses … Returned an interception 3-yards for a second quarter touchdown against Tennessee … Recorded a career-best 8 tackles against both Tennessee and Auburn … Tackles for losses came against Auburn (minus 1-yard) and Ole Miss (minus 4-yards).
JUNIOR SEASON (2004)
Emerged as the starter at the Sam linebacker position for the Tigers midway through the 2004 season … Played in 12 games with seven starts … Recorded 33 tackles, 8 tackles for losses and 3 sacks … Played in a backup role at linebacker and on special teams for the first five games of the season … Got his first start at sam linebacker against Florida and responded with a terrific game, recording 4 tackles … Followed that with 2 tackles and a sack for an 11-yard loss against Troy … Had 5 tackles and a tackle for a loss in win over Alabama … Registered 4 solo tackles in victory over Arkansas to cap the regular season. … Concluded season with 5 tackles, including 3 tackles for losses and a pair of sacks in loss to Iowa in the Capital One Bowl … Also added a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry against the Hawkeyes.
JUNIOR SEASON (2003)
Redshirted as a junior in 2003 after transferring to LSU from East Missisisppi Junior College … Played in three games for LSU in 2003 … Saw action against Louisiana-Monroe, Arizona and Georgia … Did not record any statistics … Played a total of 11 snaps in 2003.
