Finally gets chance to play this season after playing in the shadows of a pair of linebackers currently in the NFL in Bradie James and Trev Faulk … Came out of spring ball listed as the starter at Mike linebacker for the Tigers … Hard-working player who has paid his dues … Combines good instincts with that of a tough and rugged style … Has good size so is a natural to play one of the inside linebacker positions … Originally signed with Texas A&M out of high school and spent the 1999 season with the Aggies before transferring to LSU prior to the 2000 season.

JUNIOR SEASON (2002)
Completed second year with the Tigers after transferring from Texas A&M prior to the 2000 season … Played in nine games with no starts in 2002 … Had six tackles, including a pair for losses … Broke up one pass and added one quarterback hurry … Saw most of his action on special teams.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001)
Played in three games for the Tigers during the regular season, all on special teams … Did not record any statistics.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
Spent the 2000 season sitting out due to the NCAA transfer rule after coming to LSU from Texas A&M.

FRESHMAN SEASON (1999)
Played rookie season at Texas A&M … Redshirted as a true freshman in 1999.

HIGH SCHOOL
Named Louisiana’s Defensive Player of the Year after leading West Monroe to three state titles during his prep career … West Monroe won 37-straight games during one stretch and claimed Class 5A state titles in 1996, 1997 and 1998 … Also earned first team all-state and all-district honors … As a senior, recorded 130 tackles, eight sacks and a pair of interceptions … Coached by Don Shows.
