CAREER
Played in 22 games, starting twice during his career with the Tigers … Starts came in 2011 vs. West Virginia and against Louisiana-Monroe in 2010 … Off the field, teamed with several other LSU students to claim first place in a nationwide competition held by the National Grocers Association in February of 2012 … Participated in the Battle of Florida All-Star game following his senior season.
SENIOR SEASON (2011)
Played in 13 games with one start in 2011 … For season, played 181 snaps with 21.5 knockdowns … Started in road win over West Virginia and helped the Tigers to a 47-21 victory over the Mountaineers … Played 67 snaps vs. West Virginia (28 at left tackle, 39 at right tackle) and had a career-high 9.5 knockdowns … A week earlier against Mississippi State, saw the majority of snaps at left tackle after starter Chris Faulk went down with an injury in the first quarter … Finished with six knockdowns in the win over Mississippi State … Had two knockdowns in 14 plays at Ole Miss.
JUNIOR SEASON (2010)
Served as the backup to Alex Hurst at right tackle for most of the year … Played in nine games and earned his first career start against Louisiana-Monroe … Competed in 111 total plays with 12 knockdowns … Tallied a game-high eight knockdowns in 49 snaps as the starter at right tackle against Louisiana-Monroe … Thrust into action at right tackle against Alabama when Alex Hurst was injured and recorded three knockdowns in 57 snaps versus the Crimson Tide … Competed in two offensive plays versus Mississippi State but still managed one knockdown.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2009)
LSU’s backup offensive tackle as a sophomore in 2009 … Saw action in one game – vs. Tulane … Played 12 snaps in win over the Green Wave.
