SENIOR SEASON (2014)
Played in all 13 games with three starts … Started at right guard in first three games of season … Played on field goal/PAT protection in all 13 games … Saw action in a total of seven games on the offensive line … Finished year with 289 offensive snaps and 16 knockdowns … Played all 67 offensive snaps in season-opening win over Wisconsin … Followed that with 34 snaps and four knockdowns vs. Sam Houston State and 59 snaps with five knockdowns against UL-Monroe … Played 17 snaps in a backup role vs. Miss. State in week 4 and then followed that with 28 snaps vs. New Mexico State … Came off the bench to play 32 snaps in late November contest against Arkansas.
JUNIOR SEASON (2013)
Played in 12 games as a junior in 2013 … Saw action on special teams as well as in a backup role on the offensive line … Played a total of 24 offensive snaps … Had two knockdown blocks – 1 vs. Kent State and Furman … Played nine snaps in win over UAB and seven in win over Kent State … Also saw action on offensive line against Auburn (2 snaps) and Furman (6) … Starter on special teams in both point-after and field goal protection.

Graduated from the College of San Mateo and enrolled at LSU in January 2013 to take part in spring practice … A powerful run blocker who started at offensive guard for two seasons at San Mateo … Earned California Community College Football Coaches Association First-Team All-America honors at offensive guard in 2011 … Helped guide his team to an 8-3 record and 62-24 victory against Diablo Valley in the Bothman Bulldog Bowl in 2011 … Paved the way for a rushing offense that averaged more than 300 yards a game on the ground in 2011 … Rated as a three-star offensive guard by Rivals.com … Played high school football at Florin High School in Sacramento … Coached in high school by Mike Morales.
