SENIOR SEASON (2016)
Started all 12 games for the Tigers, 11 at center and once at right tackle due to injuries … Led all LSU offensive linemen in snaps (752), knockdowns (106) and “great effort” plays (38) … Earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors three times – vs. Missouri, Ole Miss and Arkansas … Had double-digit knockdown blocks in five times, all coming during the final six games of the season … Capped career with dominating performance in LSU’s 29-9 win over Louisville in the Citrus Bowl … P:layed all 72 snaps with 14 knockdowns and five “great effort” plays … Had 14 knockdowns in win over Texas A&M … Added 12 knockdowns vs. Ole Miss, 11 vs. Arkansas and 10 against Florida … Gave us just one sack all season (vs. Missouri) and was whistled for only three penalties (on 752 snaps) all year (1 vs. Mississippi State, 1 vs. Missouri, 1 vs. Arkansas) … Part of an LSU offensive line that helped pave the way for two of the top running backs in the SEC – Derrius Guice with 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns and Leonard Fournette with 843 yards and eight touchdowns … As a unit, LSU averaged 233.0 rushing yards per game … The Tigers also allowed only 19 sacks all season, the second-lowest total in the SEC … Key component of LSU offensive line that saw Guice and Fournette both set LSU single-game rushing records in 2016 … Fournette did it first with 284 yards in a win over Ole Miss, breaking the previous mark of 250 yards set by Alley Broussard in 2004 … Guice then broke Fournette’s mark four games later with 285 yards in a win over Texas A&M … In all, LSU produced three 200-yard rushers and eight 100-yard rushers in 2016.

JUNIOR SEASON (2015)
Starter at center in all 12 games as a junior in 2015 … Had a dominant season in which he led the team with 132.5 knockdown blocks, the most by any LSU offensive lineman in a season since at least 2010 … Named to the All-SEC Second Team by the league’s coaches … Played the second-most snaps on the line at 796 this season … Recorded double-digit knockdowns in six games this season, including a career-high 18 at Ole Miss … Also had 16 knockdowns at Mississippi State, 15 vs. Auburn, 17 vs. South Carolina, 13.5 against Florida and 14 vs. Texas A&M … Earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week against Mississippi State and South Carolina … Played every offensive snap in eight games (Auburn, Syracuse, Florida, Western Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl) … Helped paved the way for Leonard Fournette‘s single-season LSU rushing record of 1,953 yards … Major key to LSU’s successful running game that ranked No. 7 nationally in rushing at 256.8 yards per game … Earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014)
Played and started 12 games for the Tigers as a sophomore in 2014 … Missed the Louisiana-Monroe game with an injury … Played a total of 743 snaps and did not miss an offensive play in the last five games of the season … In all, played every offensive snap in eight of LSU’s 13 games … Finished third on team with 72.5 knockdown blocks … Starts came at center (3) and right guard (9) … Started first two games at center in place of Elliott Porter … Shifted to right guard for the Mississippi State contest and remained there until the second quarter of the Arkansas game … Returned to center in the second quarter against Arkansas after Porter went down with a season-ending ankle injury … Closed out season starting at center against Notre Dame in the Music City Bowl … Had 11 knockdown blocks in wins over Ole Miss and New Mexico State.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013)
Played in six games with one start … Started in place of an injured Elliott Porter against Furman and helped the Tigers to a 48-16 win … Played all 64 offensive snaps against Furman … Other action came against UAB (9 snaps), Kent State (7), Ole Miss (1), and Arkansas … Filled in for one play against Ole Miss at center for Elliott Porter and then was pressed into action at center against Arkansas when Porter went down with an injury … Was at center, along with fellow true freshman quarterback Anthony Jennings, for LSU’s last-minute 99-yard game-winning drive against the Razorbacks in the season-finale … For the year, played 102 offensive snaps with 11 knockdowns … Had four knockdown blocks in just 21 snaps against Arkansas, easily the best game of his young collegiate career.

HIGH SCHOOL

Parents are Kim and Gary Pocic … Born Aug. 5, 1995 … His brother, Graham, played at the University of Illinois where he started 36 games on the offensive line in his four years with the Illini and earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors twice.
