Windom was a pleasant surprise for the Tigers his sophomore year and he continued to develop his skills throughout the remainder of his career … Good runner with fine pass-catching abilities … Was No. 2 tailback behind Harvey Williams his senior season … Missed 1986 season due to NCAA Prop 48 and redshirted 1987 season.

SENIOR SEASON (1990)
LSU’s No. 2 rusher with 228 yards on 56 carries (4.1 avg.) … Caught five passes for 46 yards (9.2 avg.) … Played in all 11 games as a reserve … Best game was at Miss. State when he rushed 10 times for 61 yards … Also caught three passes in that game for 26 yards … Had 43 yards on nine carries vs. Georgia.

JUNIOR SEASON (1989)
LSU’s No. 2 rusher with 209 yards on 57 carries ( 3. 7 avg. ) and one TD … Played in all 11 games at tailback as a reserve (Fuller started nine, Williams two) … Caught 5 passes for 68 yards (13.6 avg.) … Best game was vs. Ohio: 11 att., 55 yards, 1 TD … 36 yards on six totes at Tulane; 33 yards on 10 carries at Florida … Two catches for 49 yards vs. Florida state One catch each at A&M, vs. Ohio, vs. Tennessee … Longest run was 16 yards vs. Ohio … Longest catch was 30 yards vs. Florida State.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (1988)
Burst onto the scene at Mississippi State when injuries sidelined Eddie Fuller and Slip Watkins, rushing 19 times for 85 yards and catching four passes for 63 yards in LSU’s 20-3 win which clinched a share of the SEC title … In seven games, rushed 45 times for 163 yards and caught 14 passes for 172 yards … Averaged 3.4 yards per carry and 12.3 yards per catch … Finished the year as LSU’s 3rd-leading rusher and No. 4 receiver … Did not begin playing on a regular basis until the Ole Miss game, when he caught a 29-yard pass and rushed 6 times for 16 yards … Drew first career start vs. Miami, gaining 15 yards on 8 carries and grabbing 5 passes for 31 yards … Rushed 9 times for 34 yards and a 1-yard TD vs. Tulane … Also caught 4 passes for 49 yards in the Tulane game … Longest run was 13 yards at Mississippi State … Had a 31-yard reception at MSU … Rushed for 32 yards on 7 carries (4.6 avg.) including 19-yard TD run for LSU’ s only TD in Hall of Fame Bowl … Also caught one pass for 9 yards in bowl game.

Central Florida Player of the Year in 1985, as named by WCPX-TV … All-Central Florida by the Orlando Sentinel and was three times named by the newspaper as the area’s offensive player of the week Rushed for 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior, while gaining 850 yards as a junior and 550 yards as a sophomore … steered his 1985 team to a 10-1 record and the championship of the Orlando Optimist Bowl … Played with former LSU teammate John Childers on the ’84 Evans High team.
