SENIOR SEASON (2005)
Speedster who enjoyed a breakout season in 2005 … Played in 13 games with 2 starts … Had career-highs for receptions (12), receiving yards (292) and touchdowns (3) for the Tigers … Ranked first on team by averaging 22.5 yards per reception … Caught first TD pass of career against Florida on a 43-yard pass from JaMarcus Russell … Had a 50-yard TD reception against Ole Miss and then followed that with a 55-yard touchdown reception against Arkansas … His 3 touchdown receptions averaged 49 yards per score … Caught at least 1 pass in 9 of LSU’s 13 games … Caught 2 passes for 80 yards in win over Ole Miss … Had a pair of catches for 52 yards in victory over Florida.
JUNIOR SEASON (2004)
Participated in the Olympics in August of 2004, missing all of fall camp … Returned to the gridiron a week later and saw action against Oregon State in a backup role … Played in 10 games for the Tigers … Caught only pass of season vs. Mississippi State, a 20-yard reception … Had 5 tackles on special teams kick coverage for the Tigers …
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2003)
Speedster that became a consistent contributor on LSU’s special teams as the season wore on … Played in 11 games for the Tigers in 2003 … Did not record any offensive statistics for the Tigers … Did however make his mark on kickoff and punt coverage … Recorded 8 special teams tackles for LSU, including 3 in win over Ole Miss and 1 against Oklahoma in the national championship game.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2002)
Caught three passes for 28 yards in nine games for LSU in 2002 … Caught 1 pass for 12 yards in first collegiate game against Virginia Tech and had 2 receptions for 16 yards in win over Louisiana-Lafayette … Played a key role in LSU winning the 2002 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field title in the spring of 2002 … Anchored LSU’s 4×100 meter relay team that won the national title and then 20 minutes later finished second in the 400-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 48.30 … Clinched the NCAA team title for the Tigers in the last event of the meet, anchoring LSU’s third place 4×400 meter relay team … Named SEC Male Track and Field Freshman of the Year in 2002.
