TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON (2003)
Talented running back who also excelled on special teams for the Tigers in 2003 … Teamed with Justin Vincent and Alley Broussard to give the Tigers one of the finest group of freshmen running backs in school history … Played in 12 games with no starts … Rushed for 169 yards on 41 carries for an average of 4.1 yards per rush … Had a long run of 32 yards against Louisiana Tech … Rushed for a career-best 66 yards on 11 carries in win over Louisiana Tech … Added 34 yards on nine attempts, including a 22-yard run, in first career game vs. Arizona … Had 37 yards rushing on eight carries in road victory over South Carolina … On special teams, had five tackles, playing on both kickoff and punt coverage … In all, was on the field for 207 plays, 140 of which came on special teams.
