TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON (2003)
Talented running back who also excelled on special teams for the Tigers in 2003 … Teamed with Justin Vincent and Alley Broussard to give the Tigers one of the finest group of freshmen running backs in school history … Played in 12 games with no starts … Rushed for 169 yards on 41 carries for an average of 4.1 yards per rush … Had a long run of 32 yards against Louisiana Tech … Rushed for a career-best 66 yards on 11 carries in win over Louisiana Tech … Added 34 yards on nine attempts, including a 22-yard run, in first career game vs. Arizona … Had 37 yards rushing on eight carries in road victory over South Carolina … On special teams, had five tackles, playing on both kickoff and punt coverage … In all, was on the field for 207 plays, 140 of which came on special teams.

One of the top running back prospects in the nation as a senior … A big-time back with amazing talent and ability to break tackles and outrun defenders … Ranked the No. 41 prospect in the country by Rivals.com (No. 10 running back) and the No. 5 running back by TheInsiders.com … Two-time First-Team 4A All-State … Earned All-America honors by SuperPrep as the No. 22 running back prospect in America … Managed to rush for 590 yards on 67 carries his senior season despite a change in offensive scheme where he was featured more at fullback and wide receiver … Put together one of the best seasons in recent Maryland history as a junior, rushing for 2,289 yards and 30 touchdowns leading Bowie to a 12-1 state championship season … Named Prince George County Player of the Year in 2001 … Clocked at 4.5 in the 40-yard dash in high school … Coached by Ray Hicks.
