PRIOR TO LSU
Academic All-Big Ten… Played in 10 matches, starting nine, and finished the season with 30 kills on a .264 hitting percentage, along with 28 blocks, three digs, and two assists… Recorded a career-high eight kills on a .538 hitting percentage and three blocks in a match at Indiana (11/19/21)… Started both matches against Indiana (11/21/21) and No. 10 Ohio State (11/14/21), posting a team-high four blocks against the Hoosiers and matching a career-high with five blocks against the Buckeyes… Also started both matches against No. 9 Nebraska (11/4/21) and No. 11 Minnesota (11/6/21), contributing two kills, four blocks, and two digs… Added six kills on a .500 hitting percentage and two blocks in a match against Missouri (9/17/21)… Posted five kills on a .300 hitting percentage and four blocks against SMU (9/10/21)… Made her Illini debut against Colorado (9/4/21), tallying three kills on a .500 hitting percentage and five blocks.

Graduated from Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Minnesota, where she was a standout volleyball player … Named the 2019 Ms. Baden Volleyball Player of the Year by the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association … Two-time MNVBCA Class AAA All-State First-Team selection as a junior and senior … Earned Under Armour Second-Team All-America honors in 2019 … Selected for Suburban East All-Conference honors in 2018 … Led her team to the Suburban East Conference Championship in 2018 and played a key role in the team’s state tournament appearances in both 2017 and 2018 … Contributed to winning the USAV National Championship in 2016 with Kokoro Volleyball and finishing ninth at the AAU Championships in 2019 … Daughter of Missi (Wheeler) Whittington, who played volleyball at Illinois during the 1984 season.
