Transferred to LSU after two seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State and played a significant role in the Tigers’ bullpen during their 2023 National Championship season … made 37 career appearances (seven starts) at LSU over two seasons (2023-24), posting a 6-5 mark, four saves and a 4.76 ERA in 73.2 innings with 36 walks and 95 strikeouts … named to the 2023 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll as a sport administration major.

2024 Season
• Struck out the side in 8th-inning relief appearance at North Carolina (June 3) in NCAA Chapel Hill Regional championship game
Excellent starting outing vs. Tennessee in SEC Tournament title game (May 26) – 2.2 scoreless innings, one hit, no walks and six strikeouts
• Recorded a 2024 season-high six strikeouts on five occasions, most recently vs. Tennessee on March 26 in SEC Tournament
• Earned relief win vs. Ole Miss (May 18), working 2.0 scoreless innings with one hit, three walks and two strikeouts

2023 Season
• Appeared in 17 games (two starts), posting a 3-1 record and a 3.52 ERA in 30.2 innings with 14 walks, 36 strikeouts, two saves and a .221 opponent batting average
• Defeated Tennessee in CWS elimination game on June 20 in first career LSU start … worked 6.0 innings and limited the Vols to no runs on four hits with no walks and seven strikeouts
• Earned save in SEC Tournament win over South Carolina (May 24), firing 3.2 innings with no runs, one hit, three walks and six strikeouts
• Limited by a hamstring injury, Ackenhausen made his first appearance since March 30 when he pitched the final 0.2 inning of LSU’s April 22 win over Ole Miss … he allowed one unearned run on one hit with one walk
• Made SEC debut on March 17 in relief role at Texas A&M, working 1.1 scoreless and hitless innings with three walks and three strikeouts
• Earned the win on March 5 versus Central Connecticut State, entering the contest in the fourth inning with the bases loaded and two outs – he recorded a strikeout to end the inning and pitched a perfect fifth inning to secure the victory.
• Recorded a brilliant relief win at Texas on Feb. 28, working 3.1 shutout innings against the Longhorns and allowing just one hit with one walk and four strikeouts

Posted an 8-1 record at Eastern Oklahoma State in 2022 with a 1.84 ERA, 14 walks and 89 strikeouts in 58.2 innings … recorded 56 strikeouts and a 1.61 ERA in 28 innings at Eastern Oklahoma State in 2021.
