JUNIOR SEASON (2001)
Undrafted with one season of eligibility remaining, Corcoran opted to sign a free agent contract with the Montreal Expos on June 15, 2001 …led the LSU staff in appearances with 28, including three starts … posted an 8-4 record with a 5.48 ERA … had a 2:1 strikeout to walk ratio, posting 62 K’s to 31 walks in 69 innings of work … threw five innings in relief of Tim Nugent in the Tigers’ season-ending Super Regional loss to Tulane (7-1) at Zephyr Field, allowing two runs on five hits with five strikeouts and no walks … picked up his eighth win of the season and put the Tigers in the drivers season by pitching the final 2 1/3 innings in a 13-9 victory over Virginia Commonwealth in the second game of the NCAA Regional Tournament in Baton Rouge on May 26 … gave the Tigers a sweep of rival Alabama, as he pitched two innings out of the bullpen to earn the come-from-behind victory, 8-7.

JUNIOR COLLEGE
A two-time all-regional selection at Mississippi Gulf Coast College in Perkinston, Miss. … posted a 10-3 mark and a 1.73 ERA in 2000 with 33 walks and 108 strikeouts in 97.2 innings … registered a 17-6 record and a 2.81 ERA in his two-year career … product of same junior college as former LSU hurler Doug Thompson, the winning pitcher in the 1997 College World Series championship game.

Lettered four years in baseball and two in football at Silliman Institute in Clinton, La.
