A member of the 2016 LSU squad; suffered a season-ending back injury early in the season … was forced to end his LSU playing career due to the back injury … considered one of the best players in the state of Louisiana … a strong, physical, infielder who possesses good hands and an accurate arm … as a hitter, he has a great blend of raw power and hand-eye coordination … product of St. Thomas More High School in Lafayette, La., which also produced LSU All-America outfielders Mikie Mahtook and Andrew Stevenson … a member of the 2016 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll as a general business major.

2016 Season
Played in 12 games (10 starts at third base), batting .229 (8-for-35) with three doubles, two homers, 10 runs and 10 RBI … homered and collected two RBI in Feb. 21 win versus Cincinnati … blasted a three-run homer at Lamar (Feb. 24) … scored twice and drove in two runs versus Fordham (March 5).

Earned All-America recognition from Louisville Slugger, Perfect Game, Max Preps and the National High School Coaches Association … was voted the 2015 Class 4A Louisiana Most Outstanding Player … two-time All-State selectionalso earned All-Acadiana and All-District honors … rated No. 141 in the Perfect Game Top 200 High School Prospects … led St. Thomas More High School in 2015 to its second straight Class 4A title with a .458 batting average, 19 doubles, three triples, 12 home runs, 21 stolen bases and 53 RBI … batted .383 as a junior with seven homers, 13 doubles and 48 RBI … joined LSU teammate Brennan Breaux in leading St. Thomas More to consecutive state titles in 2014 and 2015 … also played tight end, receiver and linebacker for the St. Thomas More football team.
