Made 31 appearances (one start), posting a 1-0 mark and a 3.31 ERA in 32.2 innings with 15 walks and 36 strikeouts … fired 5.0 scoreless innings in NCAA Tournament play (three appearances), allowing just one hit with one walk and eight strikeouts … perfect relief outing in NCAA Baton Rouge Regional championship game vs. Louisiana-Lafayette (June 2); limited the Cajuns to no runs and no hits in 2.2 innings with no walks and four strikeouts … turned in two effective outings at Texas A&M (May 9/10), firing two scoreless innings with no hits, one walk and two strikeouts … fired two shutout relief innings in LSU’s April 20 win at Alabama, allowing just one hit with no walks and one strikeout … recorded perfect relief inning vs. Southern (April 10) with two strikeouts … preserved 8-0 shutout at Missouri (March 30) with perfect ninth inning, including two strikeouts … earned win over Sacred Heart in season-long two innings; allowed no runs on no hits with no walks and two strikeouts

Appeared in 29 games (third on the LSU staff), recording no decisions and a 3.65 ERA in 24.2 innings with 14 walks and 34 strikeouts … limited opponents to a .229 batting average … worked 8.2 scoreless innings in 11 SEC outings, allowing just five hits with six walks and 11 strikeouts … exceptional relief outing in NCAA Regional final win over Oregon State (June 3); limited the Beavers to no runs on no hits in season-high 2.1 innings with one walk and a career-best four strikeouts … fired 1.2 shutout innings in relief outing at Kentucky (April 22), allowing no hits with three strikeouts … recorded three strikeouts in one scoreless inning versus Lamar (April 18) … recorded two strikeouts in 0.2 inning relief outing in LSU victory over Arkansas (March 30) … excellent relief outing in Game 2 of Mississippi State series (March 17), recording two strikeouts to record the final two outs in the eighth inning with LSU holding a 4-2 lead

2011 Season
Appeared in 10 games in relief, posting a 2-0 record and a 4.85 ERA in 13 innings with 11 walks and 16 strikeouts … limited opponents to a .229 cumulative batting average … earned first career collegiate win on April 13 versus Alcorn State, allowing one run on one hit in 2.1 innings with three walks and three strikeouts … also picked up a relief win over Kentucky (April 28), recording two strikeouts in one inning of work … struck out the side in an inning of relief at Vanderbilt (April 22) … longest outing of the year was a three-inning stint versus Wake Forest (Feb. 18) in which he recorded four strikeouts while allowing two hits.
