Started the first eight games of the year at shortstop before suffering the season-ending shoulder injury . . . batted .231 (6-for-26) with two doubles, one homer, six RBI and seven runs . . . his first career LSU homer – a solo shot – came in Game 1 of series versus Kansas (Feb. 14) . . . doubled and collected two RBI versus Northwestern State (Feb. 8) . . . doubled and scored a run in Game 2 of series against Kansas (Feb. 16).
