Extremely talented performer who played a vital role in LSU’s drive to the 2023 national title as the Tigers’ starting leftfielder in the postseason … has played in 166 games in his first three seasons at LSU with 123 career starts … played for the Brewster Whitecaps in the Cap Cod League in the summer of 2023 and collected four doubles, three homers and 13 RBI in 19 games.
2024 Season
• Appeared in 60 games (52 starts), batting .244 (48-for-197) with 13 doubles, one triple, eight homers, 34 RBI and 35 runs … started 30 games in left field, 16 games in right field and six games at second base
• Voted to the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional All-Tourament Team, batting .333 (6-for-18) with three doubles, two homers, seven RBI and five runs … Pearson has been named to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament Team in all three seasons of his LSU career
• 3-for-4 with two doubles, one homer, four RBI and four runs in NCAA Regional win over Wofford (June 2)
• Doubled twice, drove in five runs and scored four runs in five SEC Tournament games (May 21-26)
• Batted a combined .270 (10-for-37) in LSU’s SEC and NCAA postseason games with five doubles, two homers, 12 RBI and nine runs
• Delivered two-out, walk-off single in bottom of the ninth inning vs. Auburn (April 27), lifting LSU to a 3-2 win
• 2-for-3 with two homers and three RBI vs. Northern Illinois (Feb. 25)
2023 Season
• Played in 55 games (36 starts), batting .226 (31-for-137) with four doubles, three triples, four homers, 27 RBI and 30 runs … made 22 starts in left field and 14 starts in right field
• Emerged as LSU’s full-time starter in left field for all 13 games of the NCAA Tournament, collecting two triples, three homers, eight RBI and 11 hits while playing exceptional defense in helping to fuel the Tigers’ drive to the National Championship
• Blasted a two-run homer vs. Florida in Game 3 of the College World Series Finals (June 26)
• Launched a solo homer and scored two runs in NCAA Super Regional vs. Kentucky
• Voted to the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional All-Tournament Team after batting .364 (4-for-11) in three games with two triples, one homer, five RBI and three runs
• Blasted game-winning two-run home run in the top of the 12th inning at Georgia (May 18) – the homer broke a 5-5 tie and LSU went on to an 8-5 win
• Batted .429 (3-for-7) in the Georgia series (May 18-20) with one homer, five RBI and one run scored
• 4-for-12 in Texas A&M series (March 17-19) with one double, five RBI and two runs
• A member of the 2023 SEC Academic Honor Roll as a Sport Administration major
2022 Season
Made a significant impact in the Tigers’ lineup as a true freshman, playing in 51 games (35 starts) … batted .299 (44-for-147) with nine doubles, eight homers, 35 RBI and 34 runs scored … started 27 games in right field and eight game in left field … led LSU with a .459 batting average (17-for-37) with runners in scoring position … finished No. 9 in the SEC in hit-by-pitch (14) … voted to the NCAA Hattiesburg Regional All-Tournament Team after hitting .333 (6-for-18) with one double, four RBI and five runs scored … drove in the winning run with a fielder’s choice grounder in the bottom of the 10th inning of LSU’s NCAA Hattiesburg Regional victory over Southern Miss (June 4) … 5-for-5 with one homer, one double, three RBI and three runs in SEC Tournament win over Kentucky (May 26); Pearson became the first player in LSU history to collect five hits in an SEC Tournament game … hit .385 (5-for-13) in LSU’s series victory at Alabama (May 6-8) with a double and two runs scored … launched two homers and collected five RBI in win over Nicholls (May 3), marking his second two-homer game of the year … named SEC Co-Freshman of the Week on April 11 as he led LSU to a series sweep at Mississippi State (April 8-10), batting .455 (5-for-11) in three games with two homers, six RBI and two runs scored … Pearson hit two homers and collected five RBI in LSU’s Game 3 victory at Mississippi State that clinched the Tigers’ first road sweep since May 2017.

Earned 2021 First-Team All-State and First-Team All-Parish honors at West Monroe High, batting .430 in his senior season … also his .420 with eight home runs as a high school freshman … played running back for the West Monroe High football team … member of the USA Baseball 2019 17U National Team Development Program … named the MVP of the 2021 Florida Collegiate League as a member of the Sanford (Fla.) River Rats …batted .333 in 28 games for Sanford with 31 hits, 30 runs, 10 doubles, four homers and 23 stolen bases … he was the league leader in steals, doubles and extra-base hits … also won the 2021 Florida Collegiate League Home Run Derby.
