Outstanding left-hander from Clinton, La. who attended Centreville Academy in Mississippi … absolute “bulldog” on the mound who believes he can get anyone out in any situation … has a three-quarter arm slot from the left side and a good breaking ball that is very tough on left-handed hitters … member of the 2015 SEC Academic Honor Roll as an interdisciplinary studies major … pitched four seasons at LSU (2013-16), completing his eligibility in 2016 … made 62 appearances (two starts) during his career, posting a 6-0 mark and a 3.21 ERA with 24 walks and 57 strikeouts in 61.2 innings … received his LSU degree in interdisciplinary studies in August 2016.

2016 Season

2015 Season
Pitched in 18 games (one start), recording a 2-0 mark and a 4.02 ERA in 15.2 innings with five walks and 15 strikeouts … pitched one shutout relief inning with one strikeout in LSU’s NCAA Regional opening game versus Lehigh … worked 1.1 scoreless innings over two appearances in SEC Tournament with no walks and one strikeout … posted win at New Orleans (May 12) in his second career start, working three shutout innings and limiting the Privateers to two hits with one walk and three strikeouts … recorded a combined four strikeouts in consecutive outings, spanning 2.1 innings against Stephen F. Austin (March 3) and McNeese State (March 11).

2014 Season
Appeared in 18 games out of the Tigers’ bullpen, posting a 1-0 mark and a 3.10 ERA in 20.1 innings with eight walks and 16 strikeouts … earned relief win at Ole Miss (April 19), as he pitched 2.2 innings, limiting the Rebels to two hits with no walks and two strikeouts … superb relief outing vs. Lamar (April 9) – two scoreless innings with one hit, no walks and career-best four strikeouts … pitched a shutout inning at Florida (March 29), allowing no hits with one strikeout … effective relief outing at Northwestern State (March 6), firing two scoreless innings with no hits and three strikeouts.

2013 Season
Appeared in 16 games (one start), posting a 3-0 mark and a 2.65 ERA in 17 innings with five walks and 15 strikeouts … longest outing of the season came on April 2 versus Alcorn State as he worked four shutout innings, limiting the Braves to one hit with two walks and three strikeouts … fired two scoreless innings against Sacred Heart on March 6, allowing three hits with one walk and three strikeouts … worked a scoreless inning versus Brown (March 2) with two strikeouts.

Prior to LSU
Posted a 7-1 mark in 2012 as a senior with a 0.98 ERA and three saves in 71 innings, recording 140 strikeouts … earned 2012 All-State, All-Metro and All-District honors and was named District Co-MVP … recorded a 10-1 mark in 2011 as a junior with a 0.78 ERA and 136 strikeouts in 73 innings … named Co-State MVP in 2011 … helped lead team to state championship in both 2011 and 2012 … named 2011 Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American and the 2010 Perfect Game World Championships Most Valuable Pitcher.
