SOPHOMORE SEASON (2009)
Appeared in 72 games, starting 37 at shortstop, 33 at second base and two at designated hitter … batted a team-high .350 (96-for-274) on the year with 13 doubles, five triples, 43 RBI and 57 runs … named to the College World Series all-tournament team as the Tigers’ lead-off hitter, batting .444 (12-for-27) in six games with one double, one triple, one homer, four RBI and nine runs … hit .426 (20-for-47) in LSU’s 11 NCAA Tournament games with three doubles, one triple, one homer, 10 RBI and 15 runs … hit .417 (5-for-12) in the 2009 NCAA Baton Rouge Regional with one double, five RBI and two runs … posted a team-best 14-game hit streak (tied with Micah Gibbs) from April 11 – May 2 … completed the ’09 season riding a nine-game hit streak … line game-winning walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning versus Auburn (April 25) … 2-for-3 with two homers and a career-best four RBI versus UCF (Feb. 27).
