2005 Season
All-around infielder who started 29 games in 2005 at shortstop … LSU’s leading hitter at the SEC Tournament, batting .500 (4-for-8) with one run … Produced the game-winning hit in both of LSU’s wins at Mississippi State (5/20,22) … Provided a two-out, two-run single in the eighth inning at MSU (5/20), which erased a 5-4 deficit and gave the Tigers a 7-5 victory … In the finale at MSU (5/22), smashed a sixth-inning, solo homer that broke a 2-2 tie and proved to be the difference in LSU’s 3-2 win that clinched the West … Batted .400 (6-for-15) in four games against Miss. State and UNO (5/18) with a triple, a homer, four RBI and five runs … Tied a career high with three hits at UNO (5/18); scored the go-ahead run in the top of the 13th after tripling against the Privateers.
2004 Season
Played a vital role as the Tigers’ reserve shortstop, appearing in 32 games with 21 starts … batted .278 (25-for-90) with five doubles, one homer, six RBI and 22 runs … 4-for-6 at Southern (April 20) with four runs scored; led off four straight innings (3rd-6th) with singles and eventually scored each time … first career LSU homer at Central Florida (Feb. 14), a solo blast.

Batted .385 with six home runs and 69 RBI at El Camino College.
High School
Lettered four years at Catholic (New Iberia) High School … a 2000 all-state selection and two-time all-district choice … helped lead his team to three district championships … high school teammates with current LSU outfielder Rhett Buteau.
