Talented hurler who worked 30 innings in 2006 as a true freshman and pitched on a limited basis (6.2 innings) in 2007 … product of same high school as former LSU all-conference pitcher Lane Mestepey (2001-05).

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2007)
Made six relief appearances, recording no decisions and a 10.80 ERA in 6.2 innings of work … recorded four walks and six strikeouts in his relief outings.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2006)
Pitched 30 innings in 17 appearances (one start), recording a 2-1 mark and a 5.10 ERA with 14 walks and 18 strikeouts … earned saves in consecutive appearances vs. Stetson (3/11) and vs. Southeastern Louisiana (3/22) … made first career start on April 8 at Tennessee and took the loss, surrendering four runs on five hits in a 1.2-inning outing … most impressive outing came with 4.1 innings of work at UNO (3/28), allowing no earned runs on three hits with one walk and a season-high five Ks … hurled 0.2 inning in relief of Clay Dirks to tally an SEC win vs. Mississippi State (3/25) … picked up first career victory with 1.2 innings of relief vs. Temple (2/26), allowing one hit and one run.
