2024 Season (at Incarnate Word)
• Transferred to LSU in the summer of 2024 from Incarnate Word
• The 2024 Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year at Incarnate Word after hitting .377 with 20 doubles, 18 home runs and 67 RBI in 57 games
• Led the SLC in 2024 in slugging percentage (.733), hits (89), RBI and home runs while establishing the Incarnate Word season records for most RBI, doubles, hits, home runs, intentional walks, slugging percentage, at-bats and total bases
• Across the NCAA, he ended regular season 39th in slugging percentage, 25th in hits, and 26th for RBIs … he tallied four-plus RBIs in seven games this season … Beck was also perfect on stolen base attempts, going 7-for-7 on the season.

2023 Season (at Kansas State): Appeared and started in three games on the hill in 2023 … Posted a 0-1 record with a 14.29 ERA (9 ER, 5.2 IP) … Struck out three and walked six while opponents hit .429 against him …  Made collegiate debut at Stephen F. Austin on February 20 … Logged two innings in two starts … Struck out a season-best two against Stonehill on March 6.

2022 Season (at Grayson College): Played one season at Grayson College in Denison, Texas … On the mound, made 12 appearances (one start) and posted a 7-4 record … Registered a 4.33 ERA (26 ER, 54 IP) with 75 strikeouts … At the plate, put together a slash line of .380/.483/.790 with 10 doubles, two triples and nine home runs … Drove in 34, walked 19 times and stole 11 bases … Helped lead the Vikings to a 38-18 record and a spot in the NJCAA Region 5 semifinals.

Born March 13, 2002, in Plano, Texas … parents are Chris and Deanna Beck … father is a firefighter, mother is an elementary school teacher … has two older siblings, Tyler and Parker, and one younger sibling, Carson … attended Reedy High School in Frisco, Texas, where he was the Texas Class 5A Pitcher of the year in 2020 … chose to attend LSU because “Coach (Jay) Johnson is the best hitting coach in America.”
