Excellent all-around player who made 119 careers starts for LSU during the 2014 and 2015 seasons … posted a .318 (150-for-472) career batting average at LSU with 28 doubles, four triples, eight homers, 85 RBI and 87 runs scored … junior college transfer from State College of Florida, which is the same school that produced former LSU reliever Nick Goody, the Tigers’ saves leader in 2012 … Hale was the Suncoast Conference Player of the Year in 2013 after having an incredible offensive year and playing outstanding defense at third base … helped lead the Falmouth Commodores to the 2014 Cape Cod League championship series, batting .327 (56-for-171) with 12 doubles, one triple, four homers and 38 RBI … also played in the ’14 Cape Cod League All-Star Game … selected in the ninth round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners and signed with the Mariners in the summer of ’15.

Started in 64 games, batting .327 (86-for-263) with 17 doubles, three triples, four homers, 56 RBI and 49 runs … LSU’s leading hitter in SEC regular-season games, batting .375 (48-for-128) with seven doubles, one triple, three homers, 28 RBI and 30 runs … finished seventh in the league in RBI (56), eighth in hits (86), and 11th in doubles (17) … named to the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional All-Tournament Teams as he collected three hits, one RBI and one runs scored … hit .500 (6-for-12) in series at South Carolina (May 14-16) with two doubles, one RBI and five runs scored … led LSU to series sweep over Missouri (May 8-10), batting .538 (7-for-13) with five RBI and five runs; Hale led off the bottom of the 10th inning in Game 3 with a single and later scored the game-winning run in the inning on a walk-off single by leftfielder Jake Fraley … led LSU to a series victory at Miss. State (April 30-May 2), batting .389 (7-for-18) with two doubles, six RBI and four runs … Hale provided the game-winning two-run double in the top of the 14th inning of Game 1 of the MSU series, a 5-3 LSU victory … recorded a 16-game hitting streak from February 13 through March 15 … helped lead LSU to a series win over Ole Miss (March 13-15), batting a remarkable .692 (9-for-13) with one double, one homer, four RBI and six runs scored … he was 3-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBI in March 13 win over the Rebels, and he was 3-for-4 with a homer, three runs and two RBI in March 15 LSU victory … named SEC Player of the Week March 9 as he helped lead LSU to three straight wins in the Houston College Classic, batting .400 (4-for-10) with one double, one homer, five RBI and two runs scored … Hale was named to the HCC All-Tournament team.

Played in 60 games (55 starts; 31 at 2B, 24 at 1B), batting .306 (64-for-209) with 11 doubles, one triple, four homers, 29 RBI and 38 runs … LSU’s second-leading hitter in SEC regular-season games, batting .307 (31-for-101) with seven doubles, one triple, two homers, 11 RBI and 18 runs … named to the SEC All-Tournament team after hitting .375 (6-for-16) with two doubles, one homer, one RBI and three runs … 3-for-4 in SEC Tournament win over Vanderbilt (May 21) with two doubles and two runs scored … 3-for-4 at Auburn on May 16 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored … hit .429 (6-for-14) in LSU’s four games during the week of April 29-May 4 with one double, one triple, two homers, six RBI … unloaded game-winning three-run homer in bottom of eighth inning in LSU victory over Alcorn State (April 29) … 2-for-3 with a double and LSU career-best three RBI in win over Tennessee (April 27) … named SEC Player of the Week on April 21 after hitting .583 (7-for-12) in the Tigers’ games from April 15-19 with one double, one homer, two RBI, eight runs scored and a .643 on-base percentage … in LSU’s SEC series victory at No. 10 Ole Miss (April 17-19), Hale hit .625 (5-for-8) with one double, one homer, one RBI, five runs scored and a .667 on-base percentage … he scored five of the seven total runs tallied by LSU in the Ole Miss series … 2-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored in win over Southern Miss (April 15) … 2-for-4 in April 6 win over Miss.
