SENIOR SEASON (2006)
Appeared in seven games (three starts), posting a 1-1 mark and a 1.29 ERA in 14 innings with 14 walks and 12 strikeouts … earned first career LSU victory over New Orleans (4/26/06), firing 5.1 hitless innings before allowing a bunt single … exited the game after the bunt, finishing with three walks and a career-best five Ks in the 5.1 scoreless IP … worked three scoreless innings against top-ranked Rice (5/16/06), allowing one hit with four walks and two strikeouts
JUNIOR SEASON (2005)
Made seven appearances (one start), recording no decisions and a 5.52 ERA in 14.2 innings … fired one shutout inning in first career LSU appearance versus Nicholls State (Feb. 12), recording one strikeout … first career LSU start vs. Western Illinois (March 12) – allowed four earned runs on nine hits in five innings with two walks and four strikeouts … blanked New Orleans (March 29) in two relief innings, allowing no hits and recording two Ks … threw one shutout inning versus Tennessee (May 15), collecting two strikeouts.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2004 at Florida Gulf Coast University)
Earned the role as a reliable setup man for the Division II Eagles … held a perfect 3-0 record in 12 appearances, while posting a team-high three saves … in 23.1 innings, recorded a 3.09 ERA with 27 strikeouts and 14 walks … allowed only a .198 opponents batting average … member of squad that completed a 38-18 record in a competitive Division II conference.
