Talented Louisiana product who should made significant contributions on the mound for the Tigers in 2006 after pitching on a limited basis in 2005 … signed a free-agent deal with the Colorado Rockies after the ’06 season … the 16th-round selection of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2004 Major League Draft … a member of the 2005 and 2006 SEC Academic Honor Roll as a general studies major … earned his LSU degree in general studies in May, 2006.

SENIOR SEASON (2006)
LSU’s closer in 2006 with a team-high 20 appearances; also led the the club with six wins … completed the season with a 6-3 mark and a 3.19 ERA in 36.2 innings with 20 walks and 29 strikeouts … pitched very well in final LSU outing vs. Alabama in SEC Tournament (May 26), as he worked a career-high 6.1 innings and limited the Tide to two earned runs on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts … recorded win at Florida (May 18), limiting the Gators to one hit in 2.1 scoreless innings with two Ks … relief win in SEC regular-season series Game 2 victory over Alabama (April 15), allowing one run on three hits over the final three innings with three walks and two strikeouts … earned save at Auburn (May 5), working the final 1.1 innings while allowing no runs on one hit.

JUNIOR SEASON (2005)
Appeared in seven games (two starts), recording a 1-0 mark and a 13.50 ERA in 11.1 innings … pitched 4.2 innings in first career LSU start vs. Louisiana-Monroe (Feb. 15), allowing six runs on seven hits with two walks and six strikeouts … earned relief win vs. Western Illinois (March 12), allowing two runs on two hits in one inning of work … fired one scoreless relief inning vs. New Orleans (March 29), posting one walk and one strikeout.

JUNIOR COLLEGE
A two-year letterwinner at Delgado Community College in New Orleans … named to the 2004 ABCA and Rawlings National Junior College Division I All-Region team … in 2004, posted a 5-3 record with a 2.33 ERA in a team-high 60 innings of work … played shortstop during the 2003 season, batting .301 in 32 games with 18 runs, seven doubles, one homer and 24 RBI … fanned five batters in six innings in his only pitching appearance of the 2003 season … was a member of the 2003 and 2004 New Orleans Boosters of the All-American Amateur Baseball Association … went 3-1 with a 3.39 ERA in five games with four starts and two complete games for the New Orleans squad … also fanned 33 batters in 31 innings.
