2017 SEC Academic Honor Roll

Power hitter who played in 24 games for the Tigers over two seasons (2016 and 2017) … posted a career batting average of .195 (8-for-41) with three doubles, three homers, 11 RBI and five runs scored … played the 2014 and 2015 seasons at Delgado Community College in New Orleans … demonstrated the potential to drive the ball out of the ballpark and into the gaps with a good degree of consistency … named to the 2017 Academic Honor Roll as a sport administration major … received his LSU degree in sport administration in May 2017.

Played in 11 games (seven starts), batting .238 (5-for-21) with two doubles, two homers, five RBI and four runs scored … 2-for-3 with one double, one homer, two RBI and two runs scored at New Orleans (Feb. 21) … launched a homer and collected two RBI versus Grambling (April 4).

2016 Season
Played in 13 games (two starts at DH, one at first base), batting .150 (3-for-20) with one double, one homer and six RBI … his home run was a grand slam against Cincinnati on Feb. 21, a game in which he collected five RBI … belted an RBI double as a pinch hitter against New Orleans on March 16.

Prior to LSU
Named a 2015 First-Team All-American at Delgado CC … batted .417 in 2015 with 15 doubles, seven homers and 45 RBI … helped lead Delgado to the JUCO World Series … hit .379 at Delgado in 2014 with four homers, 35 RBI and 36 runs scored … earned All-Conference recognition … an All-State, All-Metro and All-District performer at Dunham High in Baton Rouge; batted .410 in his high school senior season with seven home runs …earned All-State and All-District recognition in high school.

It was always a dream of mine to one day be a part of the program. When I got the opportunity, I was thrilled and couldn’t wait to get here!” … born February 16, 1994 in Alexandria, La.
