Ranked in the Top 5 in the state of Louisiana by Prep Baseball and ranked in the Top 10 in the state by Perfect Game … batted .469 in his senior season at Parkview Baptist High with 45 hits, one homer, nine doubles, eight triples, 27 RBI, 51 runs scored and 49 stolen bases … a .426 career hitter in high school with 87 hits, 13 doubles, 12 triples, four homers, 111 runs, 59 RBI and 95 stolen bases in just two seasons … a 2019, 2020, and 2021 Preseason All-America selection by Under Armour Baseball, and 2020 and 2021 Preseason All-State selection by Perfect Game Baseball … voted first-team All-State, All-Metro, All-Parish and All-District at shortstop … earned the Golden Glove Award and District MVP in his senior year … earned 2021 Academic All-State honors with a 3.5 GPA … also played football at Parkview as a wide receiver.
