Enjoyed a stellar 2002 season at Mesa CC, batting .455 with 22 homers, 97 RBI, 29 doubles and 90 runs scored . . . named the MVP of JUCO Region I . . . posted a .410 career batting average at Mesa with 31 homers, 145 RBI and 39 doubles.
