EXPERIENCE: 7 YearsPamela Workman returned to her Alma Mater and enters her seventh season serving as an Associate Athletic Trainer for the nationally-prominent LSU softball program.

Workman, a native of Opelousas, La., spent five seasons as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Southern Miss. There, she spent four seasons with the baseball program which included a trip to the 2009 College World Series and a quartet of NCAA Regional appearances. She also worked with the football, women’s golf, cheer and dance programs during her time with the Golden Eagles. Prior to joining USM’s full-time athletic training program, she served as a graduate assistant working extensively with the football program. The Golden Eagles appeared in back-to-back bowl games and the 2006 Conference USA Championship Game.

Workman received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from LSU in 2005. Two years later, she completed work on her master’s degree in sport administration from Southern Miss.

Workman is certified and a current member of the National Athletic Trainers Association along with the Southeast Athletic Trainers Association.
