Patricia Searels is in her second year working with LSU Athletics coming to LSU from Florence, KY where she was a counselor at Our Hope Christian Counseling Associates.
Patricia counsels student-athletes at LSU as directed by our Sports Psychologist and participates in screenings, education on health and wellness, and the ADAP program.
Previously Patricia worked for 7 years as the Director of Counseling and Health Services and was responsible for personal and career counseling along with wellness education. Prior to that she worked at Auburn University as an Academic Counselor and a Resident Hall Counselor.
Searels received her B.S. in Criminal Justice and her M.A. in Counseling and Counseling Psychology from Auburn University. She is a member of American Counseling Association and certified by the Nation Board of Certified Counselors and is a Meyers-Briggs Certified Instructor.
She is married to Stacy and has two children, Taylor and Savannah.
