Kyle Huber is in his first season as LSU’s Director of Marketing . Huber oversees the marketing and promotions office and assists in the gameday experience for football, men’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, and beach volleyball.

Prior to his promotion, Huber served as the assistant director of marketing, working directly with the LSU women’s basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis and beach volleyball teams. Among his responsibilities, Huber was charged with implementing digital, traditional and innovating marketing and advertising that results in new and single event ticket sale. Huber also served as public address announcer and live emcee at several sporting events and was the assistant producer of LSU football gamedays, which included playing music inside Tiger Stadium.

Over three years as an assistant director, Huber created and implement several student engagement events, including “Bump Up the Jam” student volleyball tournament, “Hoop There It Is” student basketball tournament, and Mardi Gras Mambeaux on-campus parade. During his time, Huber also increased attendance at both volleyball and softball and assisted in the first sellout for LSU softball in program history.

A native of Metairie and proud Jesuit alumnus, Huber earned his Masters of Science in Kinesiology in May 2015. As LSU’s fan experience graduate assistant, Huber coordinated and implemented all in-game elements for volleyball, softball, women’s basketball and beach volleyball. Huber started in LSU’s athletic department as a marketing and promotions intern while pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration.
