Deron Irons

Deron Irons joined the LSU Ticket Office staff in October 2020. Deron currently serves as the Assistant AD for Ticket Operations. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of Ticket Operations for LSU Football, day-to day operations for the LSU Ticket Office, ticket office contact with TAF, as well as primary contact for LSU Courtesy Car Program.

Prior to coming to LSU, Deron served as the Director of Ticket Operations at TCU for 10 years. His duties included oversight of Baseball, and Men’s Basketball Ticketing. Other tasks included Ticket Office contact with TCU Frog Club, and helping manage ticket operations for TCU Football.

Before TCU, Deron spent one year at UAB where he served as the Assistant Ticket Manager with responsibilities that include oversight of all Olympic Sports, as well as helping with Football, and Men’s Basketball.

Deron was raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Alabama in 2009 and master’s degree from TCU in 2014.

Deron is married to Katy Irons, originally from Granbury, Texas, and they have 2 children – Maggie and Drew.
