Bryan Paar joined the LSU Athletic Department as the Facility Manager for the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in January of 2020.

Paar, who is a native of Olean, N.Y., joined the Tigers after spending the previous three years at the University of Houston as Associate AD of Game Operations and Event Management. There, he was responsible for all event logistics with long-range planning for University of Houston Athletic events as well as external events. He also worked closely with University and internal facilities staff for daily facility operations for all University of Houston facilities.

From 2013-16, Bryan worked at Florida State as assistant director of events and facilities. There, he was responsible for all facility maintenance and event logistics with long-range planning and potential improvements for Dick Howser Stadium and Tully Gymnasium and had oversight of fall NCAA/ACC postseason championships.

Prior to FSU, Paar rose through the ranks at Coastal Carolina. He began his professional career as assistant athletic events director in 2006 and was elevated to athletic events and facility director in 2008 before being promoted to assistant athletics director for facilities and operations in 2010.

During his Coastal Carolina tenure, Paar worked as facilities and events director for several postseason events, including the 2011 and 2012 Men’s Soccer NCAA Tournament First Round, 2008 and 2010 NCAA Baseball Regionals, 2010 NCAA Baseball Super Regionals, 2011 Big South Men’s Basketball Championship and the 2010 NCAA FCS First-Round Playoffs.

Paar received his bachelor’s degree in sport management with a minor in economics and management from State University of New York College at Cortland in 2006. Bryan is married to LSU Associate Athletic Trainer, Amanda Barbee, and the two had their first child, Maddox, in February.
