SOPHOMORE SEASON (2012)
Played in 20 games (11 starts), batting .271 (13-for-48) with one double, one triple, one homer, eight RBI and 10 runs scored … started six games at designated hitter and five games in left field … delivered game-winning RBI in final game of regular season at South Carolina (May 19) … Slaid’s two-out, full-count single in the top of the 10th inning broke a 1-1 tie that propelled LSU to a win as the Tigers clinched the 2012 SEC championship … launched first career homer on March 20 versus Southern … 3-for-4 versus Air Force (Feb. 19) with one RBI.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2011)
Played in nine games as a pinch-hitter and back-up catcher, batting .167 with one double … recorded the double, his first collegiate hit, on May 15 versus Tennessee in a pinch-hitting role.
