A strong catcher with big-time power in his bat … has a plus arm behind the plate, and has developed his catching skills during his LSU career … a hard worker that has consistently improved and a tremendous competitor who will not back down from challenges … helped lead LSU to the 2023 National Championship after emerging as a regular in the lineup in late April … has played in 112 career games (54 starts) at LSU, batting .286 (66-for-231) with nine doubles, 21 homers, 57 RBI and 54 runs … a 2022 and 2021 SEC Academic Honor Roll selection as a sport administration major … earned his LSU bachelor’s degree in the spring of 2023.

2023 Season
• Earned the starting catcher role by the end of April and played a tremendous role in the Tigers’ drive to the National Championship … appeared in 41 games (23 starts) on the year, batting .356 (37-for-104) with five doubles, 10 homers, 30 RBI and 30 runs scored
• Voted to the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional All-Tournament Team after hitting .429 (6-for-14) with one double, two homers, five RBI and five runs
• Batted .538 (7-for-13) in the SEC Tournament with one double, three RBI and three runs scored … recorded a career-best four hits in four-at bats with two runs scored in May 25 game vs. Arkansas
• Started two games (May 13-14) behind the plate in the Mississippi State series, and he hit .600 (3-for-5) with a homer, two RBI and two runs scored
• Travinski homered at least once in each of LSU’s final five SEC regular-season series versus Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State and Georgia (two HRs)
• Delivered a two-run single and threw out two runners attempting to steal on May 2 at Southeastern Louisiana
• Blasted the go-ahead three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning on April 29 vs. Alabama, erasing a 7-5 deficit and lifting the Tigers to a 12-8 win
• Launched a two-out, pinch-hit three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning April 23 to lift LSU to a 7-6 win over Ole Miss … Travinski’s homer, his first of the season, erased a 6-4 Ole Miss lead
• Earned his first start of the season at catcher on April 22 at Ole Miss, and he provided an RBI single and scored a run in the Tigers’ 8-4 win

2022 Season
Played in 33 games (16 starts), batting .242 (15-for-62) with three doubles, six homers, 13 RBI and 13 runs scored … started 15 games at catcher and one at DH … unloaded LSU’s first grand slam of the season on May 17 vs. Northwestern State … homered five times in a seven-game stretch (March 25-April 5) … launched two homers and collected three RBI in April 5 win over Grambling …blasted a two-run homer in LSU’s Game 3 win at Florida (March 27); also launched a dinger in Game 1 against the Gators (March 25).

2021 Season
Played in 29 games (12 starts), batting .271 (13-for-48) with one double, four homers, 13 RBI and 10 runs … started 11 games at catcher and one game at designated hitter … 2-for-4 at Kentucky (April 9) with four RBI and one run scored … homered, walked twice and scored three times vs. South Alabama (March 30) … 2-for-2 with one double, one homer, one run and five RBI vs. Southeastern Louisiana (March 16).

2020 Season
Appeared in nine games (three starts at DH) … launched first career collegiate home run – a solo shot as a pinch hitter – on Feb. 18 vs. Southern.

Prior to LSU
A four-year letterman at Loyola College Prep and Airline High School in Shreveport, La. … batted .429 as a senior at Airline High with eight doubles, three triples, 12 homers, 41 RBI, 28 walks and a 1.560 OPS … a two-time All-State and three-time All-City selection … named the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year in Shreveport and the All-Region Team Hitter of the Year … voted a 2018 Perfect Game All-American … played in the summer of 2019 for the Saugerties (N.Y.) Stallions in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
