2005 Season
Enjoyed a stellar senior campaign and was listed among the SEC leaders in several categories … Former pitcher, third baseman and first baseman who has made the move to second base this season; committed just six errors in 312 chances … Batted .362 on the year with a .440 on-base percentage, ranking 10th and 11th in the SEC, respectively … Made 181 consecutive starts, including all 62 games this season; last missed a start vs. Southeastern Louisiana on March 5, 2003 … Had four, four-hit games this season and registered a team-high 15-game hit streak beginning on March 4 vs. UAB and ending on April 1 at Alabama … Named to NCAA Baton Rouge Regional all-tournament team after hitting .278 (5-for-18) with three doubles and six RBI … Went 4-for-5 with a homer, two runs and two RBI at No. 1 Tulane on April 19; four hits tied a career high … Earned SEC Player of the Week honors for the second time in his career after batting .667 (8-for-12) in LSU’s series vs. Ole Miss … Had two doubles, two homers and seven RBI and posted a 1.333 slugging percentage and a .714 on-base percentage against the Rebels … Drove in a season-high five runs with a grand slam and three hits in a 14-8 loss vs. Ole Miss on April 15 … The following day (4/16), belted a leadoff, walkoff homer to lift the Tigers past Ole Miss, 7-6; was a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs in that game.

2004 Season
Started all of LSU’s 65 games (48 at third base, 17 at first base), batting .297 (74-for-249) with 13 doubles, three triples, seven homers, 51 RBI and 51 runs scored … hit .348 (39-for-112) in SEC regular-season games with 11 doubles, three homers, 25 RBI and 24 runs … 3-for-8 with two runs scored in the College World Series … 2-for-7 with two RBI and one run in the NCAA Super Regional versus Texas A&M … his ninth-inning sacrifice fly broke a scoreless tie and proved to be the winning run in Game 2 of the Super Regional, as the Tigers advanced to the CWS … 2-for-13 with three RBI and four runs in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional … homered in three consecutive games from March 30-April 3 at New Orleans and at Auburn (Games 1 and 2) … named SEC Player of the Week on April 5 after leading LSU to a series victory at Auburn, batting .455 (5-for-11) with two homers, one double, seven RBI and three runs … 6-for-13 in the Ole Miss series (May 21-23) with three doubles, one homer, five RBI and five runs.

2003 Season
Began the year as a relief pitcher, working 2.1 innings in the second game of the season against Northwestern State (Feb. 8); however, he pulled a muscle in his side during the game, keeping him out of action for three weeks … returned to action on March 2 at Long Beach State at third base and became a fixture in the lineup for the remainder of the season, starting 48 games at first base and seven games at third base … batted .332 (70-for-211) on the year with 16 doubles, 16 homers, 62 RBI and 51 runs … tied for the team lead in homers with outfielder Ryan Patterson … finished No. 4 in the SEC in home runs, No. 7 in RBI, No. 7 in slugging percentage (.635) and No. 9 in total bases (134) … hit .351 (26-for-74) with runners in scoring position and .402 (35-for-87) against left-handed pitching … batted .353 (41-for-116) in SEC regular-season games with 10 doubles, nine homers, 36 RBI and 30 runs … 2-for-7 in the College World Series with one homer, two RBI and two runs … 4-for-13 in NCAA Super Regional versus Baylor with two homers, five RBI and two runs … launched his second career grand slam, and LSU’s first of the year, in the Super Regional final; the grand slam was part of an 11-run sixth inning that propelled the Tigers to the CWS … led off the eighth inning of Game 2 of the Super Regional with a game-tying solo homer as LSU went on to a 6-5 victory … 3-for-13 in NCAA Baton Rouge Regional with two homers, three RBI and two runs … for the entire NCAA Tournament (eight games), batted .273 (9-for-33) with five homers, 10 RBI and six runs … 5-for-16 in the SEC Tournament with two doubles, four RBI and three runs … batted .379 (11-for-29) during a seven-game hitting streak from March 9-22 … launched two homers and collected six RBI in win versus Ole Miss (April 13) … hit a pair of solo shots in win at Alabama (March 30).

2002 Season
Appeared in 16 games (five starts) on the mound, posting a 3-0 mark and a 4.15 ERA with five walks and 37 strikeouts in 47.2 innings … allowed 57 hits, 31 runs, 22 earned runs and limited opponents to a .302 batting average … also appeared in 22 games (14 starts) in the field, batting .221 (15-for-68) with three doubles, three homers, 10 runs and 12 RBI … started 10 games at first base, one at third base and three at DH … gave up just one walk in his final 24.1 innings on the mound … none of the nine runners he inherited in his 11 relief appearances crossed home plate … worked one shutout inning in Game 2 of NCAA Super Regional at Rice (June 8) … pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in NCAA Baton Rouge Regional game versus Louisiana-Lafayette (June 2), allowing one hit with one strikeout … worked three relief innings in the SEC Tournament versus South Carolina (May 25), allowing two runs (one earned) on no hits with one walk and two strikeouts … for the entire post-season, he recorded a 1.59 ERA in 5.2 innings, allowing just one earned run on one hit with one walk and three Ks … 1-for-3 at the plate in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional with one run and one RBI … outstanding seven-inning outing to defeat Louisiana-Monroe (April 23), allowing three runs on eight hits with no walks and three Ks … defeated Southern (April 16), working five shutout innings and yielding just two singles … earned first career victory with a 5.1-inning relief outing versus Mercer (Feb. 17) … recorded a career-high eight strikeouts in starting role versus Tulane (March 5) … launched a pair of two-run homers in win over Louisiana-Monroe (March 10) … hit a pinch-hit grand slam in his second career plate appearance versus Mercer (Feb. 17).

A four-year baseball letterman (pitcher/third base) at Slidell High, where he helped lead his team to two district titles … posted an 8-1 mark and a 1.25 ERA in 2001 while batting .350 with six homers and 30 RBI … recorded a 9-3 career pitching mark; .395 career batting average with 32 homers and 105 RBI … a three-time all-state selection and a four-time all-district and all-St. Tammany Parish choice … 2001 all-district, all-parish and all-metro New Orleans Most Valuable Player … an honor roll student.
