Lettered three seasons at LSU from 2013 through 2015 and emerged as one of the top players in the SEC in his final season … earned third-team All-America and second-team All-SEC recognition in 2015 … played in 139 career games (101 starts), batting .317 (120-for-379) with 26 doubles, 13 homers, 82 RBI and 56 runs …selected in the 17th round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals and signed with the Cardinals in the summer of ’15 … very strong catcher/first baseman who runs well and is athletic enough to play multiple positions … a 2014 Cape Cod League All-Star; he hit .310 (27-for-87) with four doubles and 18 RBI for the Wareham Gatemen.

2013 Season
Played in 31 games (10 starts), batting .277 (13-for-47) with four doubles, 11 RBI and five runs … started in six SEC regular-season contests and hit .273 (6-for-22) in conference games with one double and six RBI … 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored vs. Ole Miss (May 18) … doubled and scored a run in LSU’s win over New Orleans (May 14) … lined a bases-loaded, three-run double in LSU win over Florida (May 4) … recorded two RBI in LSU win over Auburn (March 24).
