Tremendous athlete who enjoyed a superb three-year career at LSU (2013, 2014, 2015) as the Tigers’ starting centerfielder … posted a .311 (177-for-569) career batting average (177 games) with 20 doubles, 10 triples, two homers, 70 RBI, 116 runs and 40 stolen bases … very hard-nosed player who hustles everywhere and plays the game with great intensity and passion … handles the bat well from the left side and can use his speed to create consistent offense … a member of the 2014 SEC Academic Honor Roll as a kinesiology major … helped lead the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox to the 2014 Cape Cod League title, batting .327 (55-for-168) with nine doubles, one triple, one homer, 16 RBI, 30 runs, and 21 stolen bases … also played in the ’14 Cape Cod League All-Star Game … a two-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll as a kinesiology major … selected in the second round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals and signed with Washington in the summer of ’15.

Batted .348 (86-for-247) in 62 games with 13 doubles, five triples, one homer, 24 RBI, 53 runs and 26 stolen bases … finished third in the SEC in stolen bases (26), sixth in triples (5), eighth in hits (86), ninth in batting average (.348) and 12th in runs scored (53) … collected two doubles and drove in three runs in LSU’s three College World Series games … named to the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional All-Tournament Team, batting .500 (6-for-12) with one doubles, one RBI, four runs and two stolen bases … batted .385 (5-for-13) in the SEC Tournament with one RBI and two runs scored … batted .368 (43-for-117) in SEC regular-season games with seven doubles, one homer, 11 RBI, 25 runs and 10 steals … threw out the potential game-winning base runner at the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning at Alabama on April 4; LSU went on to win in 13 innings, 6-4 … batted .421 (8-for-19) in four games vs. Tulane and Kentucky (March 24-29) with two doubles and four runs scored … hit .533 (8-for-15) in the Arkansas series (March 19-21) with one RBI and two runs scored … Stevenson had a career-high four hits with an RBI and two runs scored in the March 20 win over the Razorbacks … hit .500 (6-for-12) in LSU’s series victory over Ole Miss (March 13-15) with two RBI, five runs and one stolen base …batted .429 (6-for-14) in four games the week of Feb. 18-21 (vs. Nicholls State and Boston College) with three triples, three RBI, six runs and two stolen bases … collected two triples in Feb. 21 win over Boston College, becoming the 12th LSU player to record two triples in a game and the first Tiger to accomplish the feat since Leon Landry had two triples against Brown during the 2010 season … 5-for-9 (.556) in three games against Boston College with three triples, two RBI, six runs and two steals.

2014 Season
Played in 61 games (59 starts in center field) and was LSU’s leading hitter with a .335 (68-for-203) average) … collected seven doubles, five triples, 32 RBI, 41 runs and nine stolen bases … was named to the Watch List for Gregg Olson Award as the breakout player of the year … finished No. 2 in the SEC in triples with five … hit .429 (6-for-14) in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional with one double and one steal … 3-for-4 in NCAA Regional win over Houston (May 31) with one double … collected three RBI in win at Auburn (May 15), producing a double and scoring one run … scored game-winning run in top of 10th inning at Texas A&M (May 2) – led off the inning with a double, moved to third on wild pitch and beat the throw home on a chopper back to the pitcher … 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in LSU win over Tennessee on April 25 … career-best four hits, as he was 4-for-4 with one double, two RBI and one run scored vs. Southern Miss (April 15) … compiled a 17-game hit streak, LSU’s longest of the season, that ended after the second game of the doubleheader at Vanderbilt (March 15) … provided the game-winning hit in the Game 1 victory at Vanderbilt (March 14), a two-out, two-run single in the top of the eighth inning that gave the Tigers a 2-1 lead.

2013 Season
Played in 54 games (33 starts), batting .193 (23-for-119) with one homer, 14 RBI, 22 runs and five steals … 2-for-2 in Game 2 of NCAA Super Regional versus Oklahoma (June 8) with one RBI and one run scored … provided a spectacular running catch in left-centerfield with two out and bases loaded in 5th inning of SEC Tournament title game vs. Vanderbilt – the catch prevented three runs from scoring and preserved 4-2 LSU lead; the Tigers went on to claim a 5-4 victory and win the SEC Tournament … 2-for-4 at the plate in the SEC Tournament win over Vanderbilt with one RBI … collected three hits in Texas A&M series (May 9-11) with two runs scored and one RBI … provided two hits, one run scored and three RBI in final two games of Florida series (May 3-4) … 2-for-4 at Tulane (March 26) with two RBI and two runs scored … launched first collegiate home run, a solo shot, versus Stephen F. Austin on March 5.

Prior to LSU
A 2012 1st Team All-State selection at St. Thomas More High School in Lafayette, La. … hit .546 as a senior with 11 doubles, five triples, one homer and 20 RBI … also received All-Acadiana honors and was named district MVP … a 2012 Louisville Slugger High School All-American and a Baseball America Third-Team All-American … batted .460 as a junior in 2011 with seven doubles, three triples, three homers, 22 RBI and 34 runs … also played wide receiver for the St. Thomas More football team, earning second-team All-District and All-Acadiana honors.
