NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association released the sixth edition of the national rankings for the 2024 indoor season on Tuesday. The LSU women dropped one spot to No. 10.
The Tigers once again have two-nation leaders on the women’s side heading into the sixth weekly-ratings list, tied for the most in the nation.
Junior Michaela Rose holds the 800-meter nation lead again after resetting the No. 2 time in collegiate history and LSU record with 1:59.25 on Saturday. The Suffolk, Va., native had already held the lead heading into the SEC Indoor Championships with a time of 1:59.45.
LSU currently has five marks that rank inside the top 10 of the national rankings this week according to TFRRS; a full list of those performances can be viewed below.
