BATON ROUGE, La. – Four members of the women’s LSU Cross Country squad were named to the All-LSWA team as the Louisiana Sports Writers Association released its 2023 Men’s and Women’s College Cross Country teams on Monday.
The four Tigers to make the All-LSWA team were Lorena Rangel-Batres, Ella Chesnut, Michaela Rose, and Callie Hardy. Members of the All-LSWA team are recognized for recording one of the top seven times in the state for the season.
This is Rangel’s third and Rose’s second honor on the All-LSWA team. Both Chesnut and Hardy made the team for the first time in their young careers.
