Four LSU players received 2025 Preseason All-SEC recognition Wednesday in a vote of the league’s 16 head coaches. The Tigers are predicted to finish fourth in the league in the coaches’ preseason poll.
Kade Anderson, a product of Madisonville, La., was voted to the second team, and Chase Shores, a native of Midland, Texas, received third-team recognition.
Milam, a 2024 First-Team Freshman All-American, was LSU’s starting second baseman last season and batted .326 (72-for-221) with 12 doubles, three triples, eight homers, 40 RBI, 51 runs and seven stolen bases.
