Gagne Earns Spot at 2021 U.S. Open

Baton Rouge, La. – Luis Gagne, the 2018 U.S. Open low amateur, has tied for third on Monday at the United States Open Final Qualifying at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Florida., with a two-round total of 2-under 142 to earn his sport at the 121st U.S. Open that will be hosted at Torrey Pines Golf Course June 17-20. Results The Bear’s Club Qualifying only took the top six players from the field of 78 players that begin the day. Gagne shot a 1-over 73 in the first round of the day and closed with a 3-under 69 to secure his spot at the U.S. Open. Gagne will make his return to the U.S. Open playing as a professional. He advanced from the Bear’s Club Qualifying with Patrick Rodgers, Andrew Kozan, Fabian Gomez, Thomas Aiken and Branden Grace.
