Baton Rouge, La.  –  The LSU track and field program remains as the No. 1 team in the country on both the women’s and men’s side in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field National Ratings index that was released Monday morning.

The Tigers are coming off a bye week and are headed to College Station this week for the SEC Outdoor Championships at Texas A&M’s E.B. Cushing Stadium May 13-15. The LSU men are the defending SEC conference champions from the 2019 outdoor season.

The Tigers have amassed an NCAA leading 29 top 10 national marks throughout the regular season. The women’s team has been ranked No. 1 all seven weeks of the outdoor season and the men have claimed the top spot in six of the seven weekly rankings releases.
