Thirteen Tigers Recognized at The Tribute to Close Out Spring Semester

BATON ROUGE – Twelve Tiger swimmers and one Tiger diver were recognized on Thursday night at The Tribute as they are set to earn their college degrees either this upcoming weekend, or in the summer of 2021. LSU will hold 2021 Commencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday, May 7-8, with summer graduation set for Friday, August 13.

This class played a huge role in building the program to the point it is at today. This is a class that has done it all. Among these graduates, there is a school-record holder, numerous top-ten times, SEC Honor Roll Members, and even a two-time SEC Community Service Team Member.

“I am extremely proud of this senior class,” said LSU head swim coach Dave Geyer. “No one could envision the year that they just went through, but their drive and perseverance in the water and in their academics has set them up for future successes in life.”

“Graduation is a life milestone which opens doors to new opportunities,” said LSU head diving coach Doug Shaffer. “We are proud of this year’s class and look forward to staying in touch as alums while seeing them pursue new goals and dreams.”
