Week Nine National Softball Rankings

BATON ROUGE – The LSU softball team (24-13, 8-7 SEC) is No. 15 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll and No. 16 in the USA Today/NFCAD1 Coaches poll.

LSU has been ranked every week since the end of the 2014 season. The Tigers took their SEC series at Missouri over the weekend. After falling in the opening game, LSU took the doubleheader on Sunday with a 4-2 win in game one and 12-5 win in game two.

LSU earned a total of 310 points in the NFCA poll and 225 points in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll.

The squad returns to action for a non-conference series against NC State Friday-Saturday in Raleigh. The games will be streamed on ACCNX.
