No. 4 Tigers in Fourth after Round Two of Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 4 LSU women’s golf team is in fourth place after round two of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic, Saturday at the University of Georgia Golf Club. Sophomore Ingrid Lindblad maintained the top spot on the leaderboard after shooting a 3-over 75 today. She is 5-under 139 after 36 holes.

LSU shot 16 over par after sitting atop the leaderboard on Friday and is trailing No.3 South Carolina, No. 15 Arkansas and No.6 Ole Miss.

Freshman Carla Tejedo Mulet led the Tigers in round two shooting a 2-over 74 carding three birdies on hole No. 7, 16, and 18. Tejedo Mulet is currently tied for 18th place. Lindblad was the second Tiger scorer of the day shooting two birdies within the round. She finished the round with six consecutive pars.

Senior Kendall Griffin finished the round in a tie for 37th place with a 4-over 76, shooting three birdies and nine pars. Junior Presley Baggett provided the fourth team score of the round with a 7-over 79. Sophomore Latanna Stone shot a 10-over 82.
