Opelika, Ala. – The LSU men’s golf team is currently tied for third place with a team total of 11-under par with a little more than two and a half rounds completed at the Tiger Invitational at the Grand National Lake Course. With about ~ five holes ~ remaining in the third and final round, play was suspended at 3:26 p.m. CT due to inclement weather.

Nicholas Arcement and Drew Doyle both currently hold the low scores for round the with 2-under par tallies with a few holes left to play. Connor Gaunt (-1), Garrett Barber (+2), Michael Sanders (+3) and Chris Woollam (+7) are the other Tigers whose rounds were stopped as well.

The plan is to resume play at 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday morning and finish the tournament. Auburn is in the team lead at 26-under par; LSU’s Garrett Barber and Nicholas Arcement are currently tied for 11th individually with a cumulative score of 4-under for the event.
