FAYETTEVILLE, AR—The LSU men’s tennis team travels to Fayetteville, Arkansas to face the Razorbacks on Friday, March 12 at 5:00 p.m.
The Tigers are looking to bounce back from a tough last few weeks where they’ve won one out of their last six matches. Five of those opponents land in the top 25.
In the latest ITA Team ranks, LSU dropped four spots down to No. 42.
Scouting Arkansas
The Razorbacks are 7-5 on the dual season and 1-2 in conference play. Arkansas finished the shortened 2020 season with a record of 6-6. They’re led by head coach Andy Jackson, who had been at the helm since 2013. Adrien Burdet leads Arkansas in wins this season with eight, all coming on court five. The last meeting between the two came in 2019, where LSU took the victory, 5-2. LSU holds the series record at 28-8.
